Olá!! Durante
este mês a minha cidade foi eleita Melhor Destino Europeu pela terceira vez
(2012, 2014, 2017) pelo European Consumers Choice e como tal, não podia deixar de partilhar esta distinção
com vocês aqui no blog. Nunca nenhuma outra cidade o tinha alcançado 3 vezes.
Não podia ter ficado mais contente, claro. A minha “Cidade Invicta” (como lhe
chamamos) merece muito a atenção que está a receber, até porque não há lugar
nenhum no mundo que se lhe compare. Existem mil razões cada vez mais evidentes
para visitar: descobre algumas AQUI. Na minha opinião, o Porto é uma cidade que
nunca dorme, nunca desilude e que nunca se deixa de amar. Para mais detalhes

Hello!! During this month my city was voted Best European Destination for the third time (2012, 2014, 2017) by European Consumers Choice and as such, I could not fail to share this distinction with
you here on the blog. No other city had ever achieved such distinction 3 times.
I could not be happier, of course. My "Cidade Invicta" (as we call it,
meaning Unbeaten City) deserves the attention it is receiving, because there is
nowhere in the world to compare. There are a thousand more and more obvious

sleeps, never disappoints and that you never stop loving once you set foot on

Foi no Porto que a escritora J. K. Rowling tirou muita da inspiração para escrever a sua saga
mais famosa: Harry Potter. Foi nos
jardins do Palácio de Cristal que escreveu muitas das partes do seu primeiro
livro da saga e foi no Café Majestic
que a escritora o terminou. Na Livraria Lello
encontrou inspiração para a escadaria de Hogwarts
e do traje académico utilizado pelos alunos universitários (traje que eu
orgulhosamente também visto) surgiu a inspiração para criar as longas capas
usadas pelos alunos de Hogwarts (yes, big Harry Potter fan myself).
It was in Porto that the writer J. K. Rowling drew
much of the inspiration to write her most famous saga: Harry Potter. It was in
the Palácio de Cristal gardens that she wrote many parts of her first book of the
saga and it was at the Café Majestic that the writer finished it. In the Lello
Bookstore she found inspiration for the Hogwarts moving staircase and from the
academic garment worn by university students (costume that I proudly also wear)
came the inspiration to create the long black capes worn by Hogwarts students
(yes, big Harry Potter fan myself).
